New WordPress themes & WooCommerce 1.4
Dear Great,
2012 has got off to a fast start at WooThemes, we've already released 3 themes, launched a big update for our WooCommerce plugin, and a bunch of extensions.
Whitelight - a responsive business theme
Whitelight was designed by Chris Rowe, with the aim to set a new standard with our business theme line-up. It features a clean and responsive design, a customized modular homepage, portfolio functionality that we all love, and integrated WooCommerce goodness (child theme) for your e-commerce needs. WooCommerce 1.4 is released
WooCommerce now boasts over 60,000 downloads, and version 1.4 is a big release - geared towards the developers!
We’ve re-written large chunks of code, made all round refinements to the plugin for our plans going forward, and optimised performance levels. Of course we’ve added some more bells and whistles too, but a lot of the changes are under the hood.
We've improved the default theme, made templating much easier, and made some intuitive interface enhancements. Read more about WooCommerce 1.4.
Unsigned - a theme for musicians and bands
Unsigned is a hugely powerful, cleverly developed, and super easy to use theme for musicians and bands looking to showcase their music. Unsigned includes an HTML5 audio player, as well as integration with SoundCloud, events & tours (with a dedicated WordPress post type and integration with SongKick), photos, videos and band members all from within WordPress. It even allows you to sell your albums and merchandise thanks to the WooCommerce integration. It truly is a massive theme that will cover your every need, and it's got a responsive layout.
